Paid posts - Forest and Climate Campaigner

FERN is looking for a new campaigner to strengthen our work with partners in the Congo Basin involved in national level Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) discussions. The successful applicant will work from our Brussels office and be hard working, dynamic, flexible, able to multi-task and culturally sensitive. He/she will need to bring strong team-building skills to FERN’s forest governance team and be able to liaise easily with both EU officials and grassroots organisations in the Congo Basin. To apply, please send your CV and a letter explaining your reasons for applying for the job and wanting to work for FERN to julie@fern.org by 11 March 2010. RELEVANT INFORMATION

Salary range is 33,300 to 47,150 Euro, depending on experience. Selected candidates
will be invited for an interview and notified by Wednesday 17 March. The interview will
take place on Friday 19th March in our Brussels office. Reasonable travel costs for
the interview will be reimbursed.

Interns

FERN does not presently have any internship opportunities available. Please visit this page regularly for future possibilities. Interns will be interviewed by two members of staff and have their work-related expenses paid for the first two months. After this point, if the relationship is deemed to be useful to both parties, they will be offered a stipend of euro 800 per month.
