Your privacy is very important to FERN. FERN only
retains data that is freely offered or publicly available, and uses it
only to further FERN’s mission.
What information does FERN keep?
FERN keeps contact information including your name address, organisation,
phone numbers and email address. We also request some marketing related
information. Any information we keep about you is kept securely by FERN.
Following a request from you, we will send you full details of the information
we hold about you.
How does FERN use the information
it holds?
FERN will not sell or pass information about you to other organisations
or individuals without your express permission. Once you have asked to
be kept informed about FERN’s work (usually by subscribing to FERN's
newsletter), we will retain your contact details and may send you further
relevant bulletins, reports, briefing sheets or personal emails.
Information transmitted on the Internet:
It is not possible to guarantee the total security of any data transmitted
over the Internet. However, once we receive your data, we do everything
we can to ensure that it is secure on our systems.
Removing or amending your data
FERN endeavours to keep the data we hold up-to-date and relevant. We will
remove or amend your data upon your request. Please contact us at
info@fern.org.
FERN reserves the right to refuse subscriptions to EU Forest
Watch at any time.
