New Introducing FLEGT film

Fern has produced a new short video introducing FLEGT and its Voluntary Partnership Agreements, which provide a vital legal framework between the EU and timber-producing countries.

Fern strongly believes the FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade) Action Plan is the most effective vehicle to combat illegal logging and deforestation, and for ensuring that the world’s tropical forests are managed fairly and sustainably.

The film is also available in French and Spanish, and is also being produced in Mandarin, Japanese, Khmer, Thai and Lao.
