Cette note de décryptage de Coordination SUD et Fern analyse les nombreuses questions qui doivent être prises en compte pour assurer leur contribution optimale à la mise en œuvre des contributions déterminées au niveau national (CDN) des pays forestiers tropicaux. Il s’agit notamment du respect des droits et préservation des conditions de vie des populations locales et la protection et restauration de la biodiversité ainsi que l’amélioration de la gouvernance forestière. La gestion de ces défis nécessite une participation étroite de la société civile.
