Forest Finance and Governance Campaigner
Tyala is trained in environmental policy and governance, and has a rich background advocating for gender, racial and climate justice. Her present focus is on strengthening forest governance and securing the rights of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities in the Congo Basin (specifically the Republic of Congo). Her work also encompasses promoting transformative finance mechanisms to fund rights-based forest protection efforts, and non-market-based solutions.
